Help Haiti is an independent, grassroots effort produced by TAL's Ministry to raise awareness and encourage everyone to help Haiti. Everyone is urged to Help Haiti!
The earthquake of Jan. 12, 2010 has killed thousands of people and left many millions of people without food, water, shelter or medical supplies. President Obama and former President Clinton who is the envoy to Haiti have urged that people help Haiti. In response Help Haiti was created.

Attention! The earthquake of Jan. 12, 2010 destroyed Haiti and killed tens of thousands of people. Haiti is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere with 85% of people living in poverty prior to the earthquake. The devastation has effected over 2,000,000 people destroying homes and leaving the population without water, food, shelter or medicine. This is a tragedy of Biblical proportions. It is a sign of how the exploding world population results in great catastrophe when a natural disaster occurs in a highly populated area.
The people of Haiti need not only aid, including monetary aid, but they need your prayers. The power of prayer is often overlooked in times of crisis. Therefore the following prayer is given to the people of Haiti and all who would like to help Haiti. We ask that people everywhere come together, join hands and pray, asking God to Help Haiti, saying:
The Help Haiti prayer is given that it may be shared with all who come together in times of need to help people who have had their lives brighten by natural disasters or other tragedies. The Help Haiti prayer is really for all people, that they may come together to pray together, such that there be power and strength in numbers, and together people may rebuild nations and live in harmony through the grace of God's love.

My name is Terry, aka TAL. I am a minister, graphic designer, and advocate of such vital causes as human and animal rights. I know what it is like to lose my home and everything. I responded to the earthquake in Haiti on Jan. 12, 2010 by donating a design that I made that the proceeds might be used by UNICEF in its relief and aid efforts. I have made other designs to raise awareness and encourage people everywhere to help Haiti. Just as musicians donate their talents to help raise funds, I donate my design services to non-profits to help raise funds. If you represent a major nonprofit organization and would like me to make you a fund raiser please contact Terry.
My family and I know what it is like to experience a catastrophy. During my life I have experienced much pain and suffering. I lost my dearest brother, Stephen, when he was killed by a speeding truck driver. Stephen greatly influenced me to complete my college education and become a master graphic artist. I sacrificed much of my life to help my dear brother, Larry, who had mental retardation. Larry influenced me to be an advocate for the rights of those who can not stand up and fight for themselves. My dear father, Lt. Col. Leonard P. Lynch died in my arms. My Dad was a great inspiration, as he taught me that all people, regardless of race or religion, are human beings and have equal rights; that I treat as equal people of all races, religions and national origins. Some years later my dear mother, La Faye S. Lynch, became catastropically ill and our home and everything was lost. My dear mother, who was the dauthter of a Methodist minister, taught me that God is Love and to love all people.
I know what is is like to be left alone and lose everything. There was no one who came forward to help me and my family through the disaster and catistropic illness when my dear mother grew old and incapacitated. In many ways this was worse than a hurricane, flood, earthquake or other natural disaster. This is because there is no international relief effort to help those who have grown old and suffered a catistropic illness; there is no relief agency to help those who have lost their homes due to greed, government corruption, and exploitation of the elderly and their families. Yet though I lost my home and much material possessions, I did not lose faith, hope and love.
You see, I still believe in God and reach out to help others by creating positive focus and inspirational designs. If you like my work, please Help Haiti and keep alive the hope to rebuild Haiti and raise its people out of poverty. Through the power of prayer and the strength and united efforts of many, miracles can happen!
